In the Department of Analytical Chemistry, we are presently studying the development of novel analytical methods for various drugs and biological compounds in vivo and the applications of these methods in biomedical research and/or drug creation.
Analytical instruments such as high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), fluorescence spectrophotometry, and mass spectrometry (MS) are frequently used for the development of highly sensitive and accurate determination methods.
In our laboratory, biosamples collected from experimental animals and/or patients are often employed.  We aim to gradually contribute to advanced pharmaceutical research using these analytical techniques.
