  • A member of working group for teaching materials, GSCN dissemination and enlightenment group, Japan Association for Chemical Innovation (JACI).
  • A member of International executive committee on International Conference on Network for Inter-Asian Chemistry Educators (NICE).

WORK EXPERIENCE:

4/2013 to Present Toho University
Serve as Professor of the Faculty of Science.
  • Specialize in science and chemistry education.
  • Educate and train science and math teachers to be assigned to junior and senior high schools and information teachers to be assigned to senior high schools.
  • Proposed and have held Chemistry Experiment Workshop cosponsored by Toho University and the Chemistry Society of Japan annually since 2015.
4/1990 to 3/2013 Komaba Toho Junior and Senior High Schools
Served as Teacher.
  • Taught physics and chemistry to junior high school students and chemistry to senior high school students.
  • Involved in practical study of chemistry in secondary education and development of curriculum.  

ACHIEVEMENTS:

Received in 2017 the Chemical Society of Japan Award for Merits for Chemical Education for “Contribution to Secondary School Chemistry Education through Chemical Experiments”.
